Sean's graduation invitation

Ok, so the car thing is in the past. Well, not really. It was weird. I woke up this morning and I look out my window and the people who hit my car (across the street) were PACKING TO MOVE! Like seriously, WTF. It turns out that the girlfriend to the guy who lives there was leaving him and moving out, so I guess we still have "wonderful" neighbors. They weren't so bad. Like, they didn't flip us off when we were around, but they must have thought we were stupid to not report that they hit my car. I mean, seriously, it's not like I'm dumb. Plus it helped that I'm a bit nosy and I looked out my window and heard everything happen. Yes, praise the Helen-ness. (Jess and Dana would get this).

Well, since that's out of the way... I went to KFC for "Mother's Day Lunch" with my parents and my grandmother. I had the chicken and biscuit bowl. It was deeeelicis. Then I dropped off a gift to Sean's mom and I really think she liked it. I thought the gift was cute. One was a plaque that had a lady bug on it that said "welcome" and the other was a lady bug sitting on a rake that said "welcome" and you put it in a flower pot or garden.

Then I went out to Sean's and this is where my picture of the day comes in. Basically, the entire time consisted of compiling about 60+ graduation invitations. Wow. The crazy thing is, it only took us about an hour 45 mins. Not too shabby. We had an assembly line though. Sean put the card in the envelopes with the pictures, wrote on the formal envelope, then put that envelope in another envelope. And I put the labels on it, the stamp and the return address label. It was a decent way to do it.

Once we were finished with that, we decided to deliver a few that lived on his run. So we went to his aunt's house. We heard them talking and we really heard their TV and their surround sound. So we kept knocking and knocking. Sean then decided to go out back and knock while I waited out front. The next thing I hear is a dog growling and barking and it gets louder and louder and then Sean runs from the corner of the house and just keeps running and then I see the dog run from the house. It was hilarious and I'm sure scary for Sean. Anyway, we delivered a few others up the run and then watched a few minutes of The Departed and he walked me out to my car.

Oh, happy two years Sean ;)

Here's a few more pics from the day. These are all taken on my cell, I've been too lazy to get/find my digital camera. That's something I really need to do.

I LOVE IT!

“Ashley” A.J. Bascom

Slow dances on the moon
We catch stars on our tongues
She’s squeezing my hand
And I don’t care if they can’t tell

She won’t take a blanket
Cause I’m so damn warm
She whispers about my lips
And her kiss knocks me off the bed

Ooooooh, Ashley
You are the best thing for me since love
Ashley
You are the best thing for me since love
Ooooh, Ashley
You are the best thing for me since love
You may be even better

We’re sleepless till the sun
Sneaks up on our bed
So we can see once more
And we’re still brushing like leaves in the breeze

Ooooooh, Ashley
You are the best thing for me since love
Oh, Ashley
You are the best thing for me since love
Oh, Ashley
You are the best thing for me since love
You may be even better

And she whispers, "Hey, what is this"
And I say "I don't know, I don't know"
But, Ashley
You are the best thing for me since love
Oh, Ashley
You are the best thing for me since love
Oh, Ashley Ashley Ashley
You are the best thing for me since love
You may be
You may be even better
