A little bit goes a long way...
So today is one of those days you have where it started out great, then turned really, really bad, and then ended ok. We didn't have school today since it's flooding again which would be awesome if you lived in Steelton (like Sean) or on a hill (like Cara and Lyns). Cara called me around noon, which woke me up, it's ok, I needed up anyway. So I woke up, didn't even take a shower, came downstairs and got on the computer. Just as I was debating to call Sean or not, he called me, which was pretty weird, but awesome at that. So I talked to him, while Trent got ready for me to take him to Colt's house. Then I came home got a quick shower, threw a load in the laundry, and went back uptown to go to Mexican with Sean and Derek. Then we dropped Derek off, and went driving around. So that's the good part of the day. After I dropped Sean off, I came home, made some noodles and walked on the back deck to look at the water. Well, I couldn't see how high the flood water was so I was getting my cell phone out of my pocket when I clumsily drop it. I think nothing of it until I hear a *splash*. Yea, I dropped it in my seriously empty pool. I was freaking out so I drop my bowl of noodles and jump in the pool to get my baby. After I got it, I realized that I was trapped in my pool. I could not get out and my dog Maggie was too busy eating my noodles. I finally get out, run in the house, tell my dad what just happened, call Lyns and tell her that she's going to Cell One with me. We get there and they're closed. I just stand at the door and let the tears roll out, finally the lady comes over and gives me a pamphlet on how to get a new cell if I have insurance. Alright. Thanks. Drop Lyns off and came home and cried for a bit more. So that's when my day got real bad. But to add to the stress I have the flood which is going to be worse than it was in September and my Granny is dying. Really, this has been the worst evening of my entire life. Seriously. But remember? It turns out 'ok' in the end. I'm staying with a few of my friends during the flood so I'm not stranded, and my cell works with my headset which is great, not to mention I'm getting a new one! As for the flood, it can go to hell, and my granny, she can be an angel in heaven. I refused to see her because my mom said that she can't see, hear, or talk to people. I just told my mom that that is not how I want to remember her.
Well, I'm going to go pack up for my weekend vacation with Cara, Lyns, and Sean.
Love ya'll.
